Dear Lorenzo,
I was certainly pleased to receive you letter which came yesterday as I did not expect to hear from you so soon. Glad you are all well and having such a fine time especially at ball games. In that line you are keeping even with me as I supposed you would give my best regards to them all.
Thanks for the pictures you sent me as they bring back happy times as well as, perhaps times not so pleasant. When did you have the picture of yourself taken? I think I have not seen one before.
The weather is simply grand we can go any place without rubbers now nad I hope it does not snow anymore but suppose we will have to have more. Farmers will begin spring work before long.
I almost wish I would hear from the boss at the store and hear them say what you said in your letter as I am anxious to be at work again as I am so lazy I do not do anything. If I don’t hear soon will get work here or perhaps go to S. L. To visit for a while, I have not decided yet just what I shall do. Mother says there is plenty around here to do.
Aunt Annie has been over here from Provo, she will leave for Montpelier about the twentieth, she intend’s staying about a week so no doubt you will see her. Say, I dislike saying anything about my relatives, but she is such a busy body and wants to know everyone’s business so don’t say anymore to her than you feel like. You will think I am awful for talking like this but she asks me so much I could never in kingdom come answer all.
Haven’t heard from Nettie, would like to have her come down for a few days if she would like to. What does she intend doing there, just visit or is she going to work?
I am doing a little sewing this week and this takes about all my time.
How are everyone in the old town, tell then all hello for me. I guess not cut out everything but meetings, that would never do, as it takes some pleasure to balance the work one does so you must have a good time.
Very sorry to hear of Brother Bank’s death as he was not so very old and was such a good man. I used to love to talk to him, his wife will miss him. I always thot she would go first but we never know who will be the next.
Royal & Mary are no doubt glad to get back home, are they going to live out on the farm. I shall write to Mary soon as I get time.
Kids are all home for dinner so must stop and get them something to eat. Be sure and tell me the los more you spoke about in you letter.
Love to you
Eloise
