Hattie to Eloise, [1941] Sep 14

Payson, Sept. 14

Dear Eloise,

I was surely sorry I missed seeing you Saturday. I got there about 5 hours too late to see you.

But I never know when I can go anywhere. I didn’t know I was going to Salt Lake in time to write you.

I had a nice visit with Geraldine but I didn’t get to see Barbara. Geraldine is such fun to visit with.

Our school has begun again also. I’m sure you are glad to have Lorenzo home again.

I stopped in to see mother this afternoon but didn’t find her home.

We are having our Opening Social in Mutual tomorrow night and I am chairman of the refreshment committee and so I will be busy part of the day tomorrow.

I’m also a teacher in Primary

We are having Louis’ tonsils out Wednesday and I’m not looking forward to it with pleasure.

I wish I could get as much work done as you do.

It’s my bedtime so I’ll close with love to all of you.

Hattie
